the snow cometh
snowflakes pepper down
salt trucks on standby

dirt sleeps under
a blanket of snow
for a short while

driveway fin'lly shoveled
city snow plow
re-blocks my entrance
***** *

heavy coat of snow
on the hillside
kids bundle up too
**********

park on the street
growing army of snowmen
guard the garage
