The Sneakers

The sneakers, on the wall arrayed With heightened soles, make me afraid They won’t be comfortable at all Or worse, they might just make me fall. When styles appear that seem improved And expectations might have moved, The target audience is young, Which I do not belong among. Nobody cares what I might buy And thus, that is the reason why When searching for a brand-new shoe, I’ll focus on the tried and true.

This is a poem of sensibility. I rarely buy the newest style because my feet have problems. Painful feet are killers, so I buy the sensible type shoes. Thanks for another look into your daily life.

The quality of merchandise steadily plummeted over the decades. Furniture, autos, machines, etc. At least two products steadily improved. Diapers and COMFORTABLE footwear. For those and for digital technology, I’m so grateful. Junk appliances are still far better than horses and manual.
