The Smoke That Took You Away

The smoke coming out of you Caused much more than the average flu Every single puff Has taken me out I fly as you used to Just to see if the ocean was still blue I go to your stone everyday All to pray for the better times My tears wept just because I think of you When we used to dance Underneath the clouds Where the smoke went up to I see your face go up to the heavens Waving down to me I climb the mountains Reaching up I would wait forever But I cant The more I long the shorter the song I cant take you being gone For that I must go where I belong

So very sad. Loosing a love is never easy and there is little to say that makes it better. ~jan

Thank you for the support. As much of my poems end up with the perception of being sad and about loss, I feel that if it was not it would loose the way of how it touched peoples heart.Once I again thanks :)
