The Smell of Earth After Rain
I
Being me
Petrichor
Do unto me,
What many can not
Yearning within me are
Inordinate volumes in
Desiring whispers of happiness.
Nevertheless, people question me
Challenging my identity.
I cry out! For I shall always be me.
