The Sleeping Universe

If the universe had a mind, it would be an atom
If it had a heart, it would be hard to find, to fathom
Hidden amongst its many secrets, a new theorem
It fell asleep and everything is just it’s beautiful dream

If it had thoughts, they would move like a photon
At the speed of light, paving a new path of creation
Dreaming up new worlds, creating new destruction
Waving, moving straight ahead towards the question

I’m sure this is the idea, the reason why we’re here
It explains the vast darkness, with light only here and there
To wake up the universe to give us the answers we’ve all been looking for
But how do we wake up the universe to tell us what came before?
