What dreams this man has to escape a world where his humanity is a contagion soldier ants swagger holding gangster guns he’s counting numbers to avoid the dream of the one he shares with the innocence of children Outside the turmoil we are a pin prick of light in the eye of God’s needle Inside us the threads of a road to an interior universe so much vaster unexplored Our lives are optical illusions We are all sleeping at the Picnic Lost in the purpose of dreaming Searching for the rhetoric in meaning (LadyLabyrinth / 2020)

time is the curse, humanity the disease- dying tis the worse- which way up, thank you please.. Alice broke the glass slipper, Madhatter ate the spoons. My friend, life is a pale glimpse through the looking glass it so oft seems. Oft my dreams send me verses, and I wake to acknowledge that gift.

I fear that now I want to sleep more. To swim in dreams that take me further away than what this existence can even imagine. To a poetic paradise where music and poetry dance the sun up and fill the sky with raining joy. And the heavens reach to touch every soul- to say- peace be upon you. And it was so nice-until the damn alarm clock went off...

Food for thought.....blindfolds off. Picnics are all well and good, but they are meant to be lovely affairs; most have been eating processed and contaminated on the blanket at ground level. When we realise Love is the power food, maybe chewing on Life will be more nourishing and wholesome. Lovely to see you pop your head in, so thank you for your comment.
