( I have at times in my life risen to the elite level as an athlete. But at other times let myself fall from such due to the "real" circumstances of life and business. There was a time when I was younger that I worried maybe I had lost  "it"... that killer instinct , that passion to give my all and achieve my best. Over the years I have found  those worries were unfounded.  For the creature I was born  into this world as  will not  change due to the passings of the seasons. )

I stand in quiet anticipation of the sleeping lion within me, questioning the moment He shall rise again Though fang and claw have grown dull in slumber I am peacefully assured my spirit remains firm though lying in this state of silent remiss. Having celebrated many a feast at victory’s table, I’ve no fear of awaking a new creature changed of spirit to weaker or less, for I am a lion. I live within the passions of a lion, possessing the heart of a lion the spirit of a lion, the thirst and hunger of a lion. .......though with this slumber I achieve nothing, assurance remains at the moment of my awakening all creatures of the jungle shall take note and quiver in fear.
