The Sky Is On Fire
The Sky is on Fire this night.
Bright stars sprawl, east to west.
Mesmerising balls of flames,
So high up in that deep, black space.
I sit here in the cool, night air.
Watch as the moonlight shimmers.
I'm surrounded by darkness,
Yet so captivated by light.
Leaves shuffle in the breeze,
Echoing through the valley.
I hear the gentle flow of water,
From the star speckled river.
A special moment in nature,
No camera can replicate.
Breathe in the peacefulness,
Let it calm me down inside.
