The Sky God

The beauteous flowers and the hopeful trees bow to you.
The great beasts of the land inhale the clean, earthy smell of the rain you bring.
O Azure, bringer of the great flood and creator of oceans.
Your surface reflects the soul of all mankind.
When you close your eyes, the world turns black.
Before sleep, you graciously give us all colors of the horizon.
When you darken, your people are thrown into chaos.
O Azure, home of the majestic eagle and creator of emotions,
When you are a sapphire, the rivers reflect your happiness.

The scholars and the learned men of the world rely on you for inspiration.
Your cleansing breeze smells of knowledge and hints of victory.
O Azure, your flashing sunsets bring about great bravery.
Your cloak of brilliant blue turns dark as the night goes on.
We feel safe in the light and wary of the moonless night.
When you are angry we feel your wrath in the thundering land.
When we lift you above us you grow our fields.
O Azure, the new beginning, the cause for rejoice.
Your night turns beauty silver.

The creation of the world was a glorious relief;
To break apart the forever of the night,
You created the world and became the infinite above.
O Azure, creator of stars, you alone rule over us.
Your floods remind us of the power you wield.
You are forever and always.
Time and regret mean nothing to you.
Age and death are impossible for you.
O Azure, ground shaker and tree crasher.
Your lightning bolts make us cower in fear.
You created us, to become your people
Everything is yours.
You formed the rivers and sculpted the valleys.
O Azure, ruler of the heavens, creator of the afterlife,
Nothing could ever rise above you.
