The Sky

You can't tell me again.
I think you already tried.
Did it not backfire?
Repetition is insanity,
Friend, so, please,
Don't attempt this ever
Again. I can make my
Own decisions, anyway.

Look, the sun was out
This morning; did you see?
There were shades of pink
And yellow and orange.
It was astonishing: it was
The sky painting a
Picture of the beautiful
Girl I met, a celebratory
Gesture, and one much
Appreciated as well. Now,
One cannot argue with
The sky. Dare you try?
You will be declared
Insane. I agree with the
Sky because she never
Lies.
