The Sinking Spirit Lifted

In the trying times of Covid pandemic I was home-bound, secluded and agonized, restrained from doing things I needed to do. Derelict life had lost its natural rhythm in the exigent chaos of uncertainty. Cut-off from the outside world isolated, the stalled time spawned dreary desolation that took the toll of my physical well-being and utterly wrecked the mental health, I plunged in depth of hopeless depression. That was when my neighbors came to rescue, didn’t let my morose morale plummet low, helped me navigate my psyche out of gloom, made the dark clouds drift from my mind’s sky, I was overwhelmed by their kindness. God’s benevolence I perceived in their support, lifting my sinking spirit from the abyss of misery, letting me survive the challenging health condition. My soul was filled with fathomless gratitude, for through them I received His gracious blessing. ________________ May 31, 2022 Contest : How you live .... challenging health condition. Wonderful tribute to those who blessed you. Some have died not due to the illness but to isolation. Glad that you have such loving neighbors!
