The Singing Nun

The song that we hear has a lovely melody.
You and the sisters sing in wonderful harmony.
Seeing you on the Ed Sullivan Show seems like yesterday.
Your lone recording made it big in the USA.
Not many listeners understood the lyrics they would hear.
However, “Dominique” sold many copies here.
You were a French nun with a single guitar.
Your lovely song made you an immediate star.
How time flies! More than four decades have passed.
“Dominique” is a song with popularity that will last.

I seem to remember the Singing Nun. And then there was the Flying Nun. Seems ages ago. Thanks for bringing back some fun memories. Love, Dave
