**the Simple Things

The grasp of your hand
The twinkle in your eye
The things I love the most
Money could never buy

The smile in your voice
The tenderness of your touch
I’m not that hard to please
I don’t ask for much

The warmth inside your soul
The beating of your heart
It’s the way you treat me
That sets you apart

The love that we share
And all the joys it brings
What I enjoy most
Are all the simple things
