The Silhouette
there was a change in your voice
you told me i was right; i was wrong
so i wiped your tears to tell you never
not to ever care about me
i climbed the side of the mountains to save you
once again
but seeing the overhead on the edge showed me
you weren't there
you left to the creek where he came to bless you
but for every time i yelled, you heard
so i set my clock to six in the morning
i get dressed and leave and seven and a half
turning back was least optional
but what's the use of moving when you're numb?
you're immune to me
and you don't love me
but in a memory you'll be with me
