The Silent Answer

Words, feelings, emotions.
Pouring out my very soul as my,
Heart drains of everything that I have left.
Tears falling.
My body is exhausted.
I can't go on like this.
I look into your eyes for a message,
But then I see a shadow of a,
Figure leaving our bedroom.
I look into your eyes and,
I see tears falling down your face,
And I hear the words I thought,
I'd never hear you say.
I'm sorry she doesn't mean anything.
I turn
Walk out
Shutting the door
Without a single word.

I consider myself a hopeless romantic. Most of my poems are about romance, past lives, and second chances but I thought what if you were in a relationship where you was madly in love but you started noticing changes in your spouse of doubt suspicions and then you come home unexpectedly and wham the truth is staring back in your face. Everyone has their own scenario of how they would confront this situation mine was turn around walk out the door without saying a single word to me that says at all. Thank you for your words I appreciate your compliment.
