The Silence That Survives

The Silence That Survives

Good morning to the beautiful hearts that carry the world on their shoulders and don't break,
I know the world sounds louder these days and that the noise is more than we can take,
We are moved like pieces on a board we never chose to sit and play,
Controlled by fear and headlines and expectations... growing smaller... drifting away.

They tell us who to hate and what to fear and which side to choose today,
And slowly without noticing we become colder and smaller and more afraid to stay,
Angry with an anger we never created and that was never truly ours to own,
Carrying a borrowed cruelty... like a foreign coat... cold... and overgrown.

But listen... your heart was not made for this cruelty and this wounding and this pain,
Your heart was not designed to normalize the bloodshed and the suffering and the stain,
If you feel heavy and angry and helpless it only means you are still whole,
It means something inside you never broke... never sold out... never lost its soul.

Stop for a moment and breathe like water that stays still beneath the raging storm,
You are not the chaos around you... you are the silence that survives and keeps you warm,
Even in a world that is losing its balance your heart still knows how to feel and love,
And still knows how to stay human... in the middle of the machinery pushing and shoving.

Hold on to that... to the warmth inside your chest that has not gone out in the noise,
It is the most beautiful rebellion in a world that has forgotten its own voice,
Your strength to remain human when everything demands you become a number and a date,
Is the greatest revolution... quiet... and warm... and never defeated... never too late.

Good morning to the hearts that carry the world and never surrender and never fade,
The world is louder but the silence inside you is deeper than anything that was made,
Breathe... and feel... and love... in the middle of the chaos surrounding you today,
Because the silence that survives... is the only power... that never gives itself... away.
