if you listen carefully, the silence is beautiful ~ anonymous Soft, like a caress, whispering Across the naked expression Of one who listens to the silence That fills the dawn with light And love that is forever Alive inside the heart Magical as moonbeams Sparkling like the amber sun Against the truth of a snowflake Blessing us all with its touch Still, a hush fills the air Breathing sighs of compassion Across the tranquil gestures Into heaven’s mysterious guise Secret joy floats all around Reaching through the lingering clouds To color souls with crimson hope Warm hearts with hues of Lavender inspirations and prose Praise for the One who bestows Us all, with the snowflake Quiet, like a gentle smile The music is hushed, calm Creating feelings that dance Across the wordless night Welcoming the stars, the nocturnal Wonders that grace our evenings Listen to our dreams, our wants Yearnings for the love that lives Inside the spirit and never dims Even after the snowflake Has melted into the cold Hard ground, leaving a frown

That’s a superb free verse Regina, the silence is beautiful when the landscapes covered in snow, a taste of heaven sent in crystal flakes to earth below. Bless you dear friend ~ Belle

Sparkling and beautiful just like the snowflakes that fall so silently. There is something ethereal about each and every snowflake and to see them falling fills my heart with joy, as the gentle silence shrouds me like a shawl. Thank you Regina for cosseting me with your snowwhite shawl... with kindest thoughts Ann xx

Great imagery. A wonderful poem How I wish I could have seen snow falling. Now it is too late. I'll wait the end of my days in humidity. ~~
