"Silence Faded with a Soft Embrace" Seated on the bench of a silent shore Two loving souls lately at daggers drawn Seemed to be two worlds apart to the core, Their amorous whispers of lore were gone Instead, grumpy words flew from each other Aimed to tear their unthreading ties further. The root of their rebellious row rested On the pernicious worms of jealousy With the lady`s spirit devastated With clouds on her lover`s fidelity And lack of shines of mutual confidence Darkening day dreams of their existence. All sweats to clear away the clouds were vain, It seemed they were getting further apart With the two lovers` heart pining with pain On the verge from each other to depart, It seemed the dice was now cast for ever And they were destined their ties to sever. It seemed their exchange of sweet love letters The sparkle of scents shared with each other Their passionate moments spent together The soft music in their ears were over Giving way to woeful waves of distress And mournful streams of sorrow and sadness; A dreary silence invaded the shore Thick layers of darkish clouds veiled the sky, In a while it started to pour and pour Hardly beyond a near cry one could eye, Man offered his coat to lady with grace The silence faded with a soft embrace.
