The Silence Between Stars
The candle flickered in her eyes,
A thousand truths beneath the skies,
Yet lips remained unspoken, still, Cold shadows fall—
A heart may call
The vows we made now lost to air,
All fragile dreams beyond repair,
And yet here we are.
