The Show Must Go On

The Show Must Go On
Each of us is like a puppet as God above pulls the strings
A heart that needs to have a touch of love sent from heaven up above
The show must go on so the poets have claimed
We all should join each other by linking hands as in a chain
When the going get tough the tough get going
Were all in a test I must confess the hero does their best
Sadness fills the eyes of a very lonesome passerby
The show must go on with hearts that are bleeding in the night
A hunt for red October to help to never give up on the fight
To stay ahead of the game one might turn into the mentally insane
Still we press toward the mark of hitting are higher calling
Shout out to your neighbor were never given a second chance to repeat
Scattered clouds amidst the blue horizon amidst the doom & gloom
We are left hear out in the fields in search of are daily bread
A tug at the heart shall light the inner spark to what we are waiting for
Amidst the bitter turmoil that people have created lust in place of love
The show must go on in are Peyton place without having any regrets
There is a hero in us all there no use looking back when your hand is on the plough,
A blade of green grass plush & so sirene falling on it's soft shade of dew
With a whole host of angels cheering us on we must proceed in the song
Never relent to give in until you have reached your final destination
For love has gained it also has lost humanities greatest of cost
A pearl of great price awaits the goal for all souls that have faith & believe
