The Shift Within
The shift within, begins with discernment
Find now cause of consciousness contraction
Negating that which dilutes contentment
Choosing vibrancy of bliss elation
Root cause of suffering is stagnation
Indulgence in ego borne sediment
Spiralling desires birth agitation
The shift within, begins with discernment
Fears and desires, two sides of attachment
Fleeting wisps of smoke; merely illusion
Seek out and destroy, rather than lament
Find now cause of consciousness contraction
Tranquil peace found in void of cessation
Magnetism drawing in the bliss current
Path clear; free will choosing resonation
Negating that which dilutes contentment
Blissful joy is our native element
Mode: embrace-hold-release, celebration
Reclaiming pristine self luminescent
Choosing vibrancy of bliss elation
Deepening stillness in meditation
Ushers purring bliss without abatement
Upon resting ego borne suggestion
Assured here and now, is our soul ascent
