The Shapes of Me

My life has many shapes
I can be such a... square
                                            no need to be somewhere
                                            no exciting story to share
off in space I simply stare

                                                          but..
                                                       at times
                                                 I do get out there
try to be a diamond if I dare
                                                curse that wild hair!
                                                   To shine is rare
                                                         not fair
                                                          then..

                                                            my
                                                      life is much
                                                   like a circle that
                                                  goes round about
                                                    predictable no
                                                       doubt and
                                                        centered
