The Sense of Love

Do you see?
Is it a bird?
Does it surprise you?
Does it make you smile?

Can you hear?
Is it a call?
Does it sadden you?
Does it make you afriad?

Can you feel?
Is it a friend?
Does it feel you too?
Does it make you happy?

Is it your friend?
Is it your lover?
Does it know you at all?
Can you even fathom it?

Is it yours?
Can you touch it?
Can you still see it?
Is it pleasant to hear?

It is your love
Holding you closer
Giving you all you need
Making you feel wonderful

It will be there
Now and forever
Making your days happy
Because you know they love you
