The Selfishness of Party Lines

The Selfishness of Party Lines
By Franklin Price
9/10/2015

The selfishness of party lines
a wonder to behold
The epitome of stupidity
If I may be so bold

If the two agree there's something wrong
Should not be happening
They must agree to disagree
Disagreement is their thing

Must rethink if thoughts the same
Must not cooperate
Inadvertently get something done
Instead of being second rate

Think about the people
And about the country too
Supersede the party lines
It's what you're voted there to do

How right you are Franklin! It seems to me that our political representatives are only interested in getting elected. The only interests they have in mind is their own. Good write, Franklin! Love, Kim
