The Selfishness of Hearts

Joy in sorrow Laughter in pain No expectation of giving But all of receiving. Hands wide open. Greed in his eyes Only receiving fine things, rejecting the old. But how could you, through moral laws, reject a gift when it's been given? Not all hearts are black, some are still red, but all have the stain of selfishness.
