The Seeing Eye
I have come to realize,
real-in-my-eyes, that these eyes
can see through blind walls
just as easily as a breeze
sees itself upon a trembling leaf.
Metaphorical hat-brim pulled low
over smiling eyes.
A mind-view of a world made new
just for a moment.
There will be more, more realizations.
I will watch a hedgerow bird
eye a seed
that no other creature
can see,
and I will tell the sky.
