The Seedlings and the Cat

This Spring I have planted trays, trays and trays of seeds, all were labelled neatly with sticks and quite in order ; I placed them by a sunny window on a pretty wicker stand, but kitty cat wanted a look and well, now there is disorder; the whole thing toppled over and the sticks fell out . . . The seedlings are thriving anyways- good thing I adore her ! So, I water and whisper to them and the growing proceeds . . . _________________________ April 16, 2020 Poetry/Rhyme/The Seedlings and The Cat Copyright Protected, ID 20-1244-348-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Written for the contest, Write a Rhyming Poem for Fun sponsor, Caren Krutsinger Second Place

I love seedlings that find the light and grow in this poem. The chaos caused by the cat recalls the old adage 'Curiosity...' -Richard

Hello Dear Heart, the seeds made it to flowers anyway. The cat just spread out the flowers. Be safe. Enjoy your day my friend.
