The Seed

The lazy afternoon's breeze, dances
across the fertile plain.
The seeds it gathered, dispersed,
shifting , drifting migrating on the wind.
Gently floating down, finding a new habitat.
The traveling seed is tantalized,
by the fertile ground below.
It will settle in a place where it
will continue to thrive.
It will grow , struggle to survive
any hardships that plague it's existence.
In the fall, when the cold winds come
It will pick up new seeds, beckoning them,
to ride the wind, delivering them
to the safety of a crevice or fissure
These nomadic seeds will journey,
season after season, forever,
changing the landscape.

This is a lovely description of the travel of a seed. I thought I'd just click on some poem from the middle of your works and I got very lucky to find this one that was new for me!
