The Seasons of My Life
I was born during the fall season or autumn,
early part of the second week of October
when the leaves are changing colors,
the phenomenal, magnificent Fall Foliage.
However, life’s fall season is not as colorful,
as it represents obstacles, problems and of
course, survival in facing these circumstances.
Of which, I had more than enough and survived.
Either by finding solutions or accepting and
moving on; although it seemed I kept falling
back to the fall season of my life again and
again beyond my control and I am still standing.
I always look for the summer season of life,
when life’s fulfillments are rewarded by parties,
picnics or travels to celebrate accomplishments,
feats and to thank for these blessings and skills.
The summer season of my life celebrating me,
who I became as well as my children, who they
became with my loved ones and beloved friends.
All the memories to remember in my life time.
The season of my life I truly cherish is the
spring season of life, when opportunities come
to learn and grow and meet new friends and
inspiring people, who believe in one’s abilities.
I am so grateful for all the opportunities I had,
the knowledge I learned and the people who
influenced me, believed in me that I keep on
evolving, positively thinking I can do anything.
And now, I am in the winter season of my life,
the season of life to reflect what had been done
and plan for the future or for the rest of life.
My life was bittersweet with life’s ups and downs.
It was hard to be me; but no matter how tough
life can be, I will keep going focusing on all my
blessings and His presence in my life for life goes
on and I am here to see what is stored for me.
