The Search
Of the microscopic and macroscopic with all that lie in the in between
Of light passing through our thin tissue membrane skein
Of our bodies a filter and all life proportioned by golden mean
Of foundations laid down with line and form in dark caves keen
Of cultures that rise and fall or yet to have been
Of the extension of time across oceans and sky black or cerulean
Of the dawn of the universe and its continuing demean
Of new galaxies born from the dust of dead stars never before seen
Of heaven and hell, death and rebirth in an infinitely churning turbulent organic machine
Of traveling inward and outward and back again in hope to glean
From our search of ourselves to become as more human beings
