The Search

Gazing straight into someone eyes, Looking for some tiny small clue, I found the icy stone that shines, showing me much it was not you. My eyes stared in pain through streets of misery I humbly beg that I find, the eyes I once loved in sheets and live forever in my poor mind. The more I seek, I run, I search For these eyes my life once loved, I feel the greatest emptiness embrace. For now will never be too much, I go ahead for the one always adored, Till I fulfill this lonely space.

Yes! I agree. Life is a search - it seems for something usually just beyond reach. I REALLY like this one, Manoel. Love, Dave
