The Sea Within Me

I remember the wind and the waves.
Maybe it's a vision from a past life,
or the image from an old poem.
I start to feel postmodern.
I breathe in the sea mist to see,
the place where I was born.
I look back on vague days past to see,
  how I have grown.
And to see that these old clothes,
  don't fit and are worn.
I reflect on what I have reaped,
  from what I have sown.
The years have eroded away at me,
like the sea on the stones.
In this life the ending is always the same.
Will you sink or will you swim?

I can't believe no one has commented on your poem yet. It is very nice, and flows so well. I like the last two lines best. Thank you for posting it.
