Image result for pictures of the scripture I have hid thou word in my heart

For years I kept that scripture out In plain view, in a spot On a rounded backsplash in sight So, I'd not God's name blot When I answered the business phone At our house, free labor Until we could afford to hire Someone like a neighbor At last, I got a pay increase Double in my wages And now I get social security That reflects the dark ages God has been good to me in ways I can't truly explain His word uplifts, inspires, directs So, I can't complain The business has fed us, paid bills Along the way some fun We did some things others could not. At life, we had a good run Now that the end of life is close I know that God can hear I want to revere His word still I long to go without fear

God grants blessings to those who call out His name in earnest and carry His word in their hearts. I too have experienced His love all through my life. Beautiful poem, dear Sara!

Yes, Anne-Lise, I call it shooting prayers. As I work and as I sit or do anything I try to pray short prayers for all kinds of problems or ideas or just help me dear God. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Victor, also, reading His word. We have the Bible at our fingertips provided that we have a computer, and it attached to the internet. Reading God's word is just a click away and even if you have a smart phone or iPhone or one of those kinds that can link up to the internet. It is right there for us to read or even have it read to us. Sara K

Why, thank you, Oliver. Yes, it says in the Bible, "If I go away, I will prepare a place for you". I believe that He is preparing a place for all of those who have believed and still believe and will believe that will be so beautiful that we have never seen anything anymore magnificent. Sara K

This is beautiful and encouraging Sara. Enduring till the end is huge, so many need to be encouraged to do so, and you did so incredibly. Thank you for writing this <3

BJ, I believe enduring until the end is mentioned in Revelation and it is speaking about the nation of Israel who would survive the tribulation period and possibly some Gentile as well. Of course, we as Christians should hold on to our faith until God calls us home no matter in what method be it the rapture or in death before then. We will be caught up in the air to meet Him. Thanks for dropping by. Sara K

The worst thing a person could do is fail to finish the race. Endurance is imperative -Matthew 24:13. Reverent poetry Sara

Thank you, Tom. Yes, we have to keep going until He calls us home. I remember an elderly woman who from her dying bed was still preaching or teaching about God's love. She was such an inspiration to me. Thanks for dropping by. Sara K

Thank you, Joanna. Yes, God's Word is the best Word to live by. It will keep you out of trouble, help you do what is right, help in our marriages and it will uplift when we are down. Sara K
