The Scales Balance
THE SCALES BALANCE
In the days of measures and weights
Some creditors had shady traits
Often times, more weight would come
Because the creditor "weighed his thumb"
But justice in the eyes of God
Won't go where shadiness trods
His scale is always perfect and true
When He weighs and balances you
If our obedience is consistent
And our bent to sinning is resistant
There'll be no room to tip the scale
And put our soul in danger of hell
So when the final trump shall sound
Will your true measures too be found
His weights and measures are precise
The final balance is in your life
