The Saviour

“A man can be destroyed but not defeated.” ~ Ernest Hemingway, (The Old Man and the Sea) The Messiah, the saviour, Oh, Lord! What have we done? Killing the man with our own sins, The untold misery that we have spun! The redeemer, the saviour, Oh, Lord! Our prayers are gone. Thorns and nails on the innocent, Our job is to hide and run! Who is to be blamed? A man or a woman? A wolf or a fish? Mortals fight, Christ is maimed! Remember the hung Albatross? A knife for a knife, The vicious cycle never leaves us! Still it is only for Christ A man stands up, Though regretting the apple-heist, He is saved to live! The Prophet, the saviour, Every man bears his blood! Destroyed, never defeated, Every man must fight the flood.

Powerful words depicting the crucifixion, Jhinuk. The irony is, though we all are culpable for his blood; because of that blood, we all have the opportunity to become God's children (John 1:12). Well, done ~ John

I have said that only, that Christ's blood makes us God's children. Thank you for sharing your insightful views and enriching me... Lots of love Jhinuk.
