The Sands

the sands 
a practice in patience
as they shine inner
                      tranquility

the sands 
mystify with colour
 a minds silent 
                         solitude

the sands 
shines a light inside
shining on the jewels
                            of truth

the sands 
opens the door to
 nobility, love and
                            harmony

the sands
a creation of the universe
they have a beginning
                    and an end

the sands
lift the mist then
float in calming 
                          waters


 the sands
              a symbol
                         of life
