Those childish dreams we once had, Were abandoned on the sandy beach, Though they arrived in wonder clad, And they taught the heart to reach! But when the glazed sapphire skies, Had transformed to scarlet orange, The hopes of morning were revised, In the hours of moonlight adoring! Though a yesterday of fervent joy, Once upon an evening has faded away, Bloom scents waft memories we enjoy, Like the fantastic scenes of a holiday!

so many will relate with this one ,with so many forgotten dreams.. what we want as children is not what we want as adults..

So true, Silent One. But without the childhood, there would be no adults.

Such memories we often entertained. Makes one yearn for by gone days. ~~

I can picture us all as youngsters eyeing the sandy beach. Who shall build the better castle. Probably Gershon :)

This is a most lovely revival, Evelyn. Let us all build our sand castles in the sky! Rainbows and Lollipops, Gershon
