The Sanctuary of the Forest

The long dark lonely road passing trees,
That haunt yet gives a message,
A warning to beware.
I smile as I see the trees wave,
Talking to my psyche.
We have a kindred spirit.
They protect from evil,
That beseeches my soul.
I am one with nature.
The forest is my sanctuary,
My freedom,
My independence,
My peace,
My heart.
The monsters have no power over me.
My guides surround and protect,
They are family.
So I smile as they welcome me.
Then magically, the forest comes alive and,
peace reigns over all.
Suddenly I see the truth of the forest,
The Unbelievable yet reality.
The secrets I hold deep,
As They allow to be seen,
Only by the one who instills loyalty and truth.
I offer protection and,
They show me a world of secrets in,
The sanctuary of the forest.
