The Same Night Sky

I look upon the stars tonight
There must be reason,
Why they are shining so bright

The thoughts of you are ever present
The stars agree you must be sent from heaven

A falling star,
A smiley face,
A thought of hope
Merged with awareness

That even with the distance between us
You might be staring at
The same night sky,
That not even distance can keep us apart…

That last stanza is so romantic... A love not daunted by distance or perhaps even time. Nice :) hugs, kris

There have been times when I've been missing someone and wondered if they might be staring at the stars thinking of me too. Hits home as well as a home run! Love, Carolyn
