The Sailor
Did you see the sailor?
Lay down beside the lamp?
Awaiting the heavenly sail,
of the huge vessel ashore?
Now again he turned,
Anxious to take his turn,
To man the beautiful structure
Away from an awful rupture.
Give a melody to lull him.
Play a tune on a whim,
That carries a strong sail,
Into the night of a song.
The waves beat a beat,
the ship always sways a bit,
Destination comes albeit
After cruising about.
