The Sacrifice

The doubt he feels is inadequate, his heart has not derived,
The worth he feels in your presence, how much he tends to hide,
When all that has to be said is placed on the table to see,
The interruption breaks her heart, and quietly she leaves,
If God had placed this love to be, than he would see the truth,
Everything you sacrificed, and how you choose to move,
How you live, not for yourself, but instead you chose to give,
The nature of the God you serve, meant so much more than him,
And for a moment, she weeps in silence..Lord, I thought that he could see,
I thought he knew how much I love you, and why I do these things...
