The Sacred Viking Strike
Soar aloft, brave Thor, sing like lightning!
Unveil to me your hammer.
Hammer strong, strike with all your might!
Illume the sky with your mighty swagger!
Save us from obscurity; take us far!
Oh, chant Viking Pantheon, chant!
Your thunderous chant will sparkle at twilight's close.
Hail Thor, praise bold adventure,
Praise Odin, whose name resounds!
Fair Freya, cleanse me, and sanctify these hands.
Purify my heart, applaud my sacred art.
Fairest Frig, make fruitful all my crafts.
Let my ideations rise to heights.
Oh, plant gardens, noble Vikings, plant them.
Raise them in sunlight, kiss them with moonlight.
Gather the Harvest, ye ancient Norse, gather!
Take food together, praising the Earth's bounty.
Odin, give us sustenance.
Fill our gardens. Bestow our grain.
Let vegetables thrive, let fields be full.
Nourish the land with rainfall.
Oh, dance ye Viking Pantheon, divine ones, dance,
Rant with thunder, cleansed with sunrays
Travel forth, Thor, travel!
Unravel the mysteries of the Big Dipper, so vast!
Whilst we exhalt abundant days.
Let us live an honorable life,
A life of courage, life of kindness
Odin, grant me noble character
And strength to tread the wilderness.
We take the sigil from Odin, All-Father who reigns,
Wise Viking deity, whose jewels flash bright
So mighty, so diffuse
The weaver of the northern looms
Oh, express thy souls with Viking runes,
Rune of protection,
Revealing ancient Norse truths
Praise be to Asgard's Gate,
Whilst Freya smiles bemused.
So be it.
