The S Word: In Collaboration With Jan Allison

I mustn’t write it in a poem someone will moan if I do It begins with s and ends in t perhaps it’s a load of pooh But if I inscribe it in a poem someone may tell me to hush It begins with s and ends in t this dirty word I'd have to flush If it's submitted in a poem some may think it'll burst a bubble it begins with s and ends in t and belongs in a pile of rubble You can't overlook it in a poem It's obvious when you see it it begins with s and ends in t One word that displays no wit When I see it written in a poem I balk. It makes me want to puke It begins with s and ends in t and is the reason for my rebuke This "S" word may not be what you expect it to be, but was much more fun to collaborate on the ideas of what we know it to mean. Thanks, Jan, for the inspiration.

Ahh, the two lovely ladies of the silly Soup...alwawys talking about something to poop...I know it's not scarlet, sault or saint...but with the word I do have a complaint...don't worry your -secret- is safe with me... it might be the word serpent~ slithering down the apple tree...^WW^

Hello my Witty Warrior. Jan and I do seem to have a penchant for silliness, but we love it! Your words of wisdom are wily and welcome. Thanks ever so much, {*J*} ;-)

This S word is the depth of contention. You're always ready, willing, able and up to any challenge, chick.

I'm pretty sure Jan and I didn't expect this to become a guessing game, but it only adds to the fun. Thanks, Kim.
