Notes About The Poem
So below dear and gentle reader, I write on the
Discovery of an 'air breathing dragons' skeletal remains
Un-covered and exhumed, soon to go on display we
Do not know how it died.? It might have been in
Mortal combat with local heros.? A knight who can
Tell.? I say do not discount biblical accounts, as this
Age's end begins to knell.)
The Rutland Dragon '
An old English dragon is about to emerge dredged up in a lake, where it might have
Been reared.? Not the biggest of the familiy yet the most intact.' Soon to be exibited..Hey I only state facts.! We don't know if it breathed fire.? Or what colour were its eyes at just over thirty feet though
It was of just over medium size ' perhaps it
Lived on its island, with a mum and Dad.?
Maybe just a batchelor.? A sort of Jack
on the scales; as in
Lads..There is also an old castle, not too far away, maybe he had an eye for a princess who can truly say.? Perhaps it had a pet ogre.? Or was friends with an evil queen.? they
could have dined together, on infant children.? It
A tried and tested story theme.'
I suppose things will be revealed
more.? As in the Good book i have
often
seen, a description
Of wild dragons, brave warriors,
giants and
Miracles, so many, very. Diverse scenes.!!!
