The Run Around
the run around....
beating around the bush
never getting straight to
the root of the problem
the run around....
straddling the fence
between swings of mood
the run around....
yes
no
maybe so
never a clear answer given
the run around....
left in a constant state
of confusion after each
in encounter
the run around....
waver between
realms of reality
between truth and fantasy
living in both simultaneously
the run around....
tired of the mind games
that are played at my expense
the run around....
no longer willing to
continue to play this
cruel game
the run around....
