The Rumors
I hear them talking
And I see them looking
When they pass by they wave and smile
But when I approach they are in denial
Rumors by people that don’t have a life
And might want mine
Rumors that are stupid
Especially the one about the baby
Yea that one was really funny
These people must not know me
Because I can’t get pregnant
After my summer incident I became sterile
They can talk and look all they want
Rumors don’t run me
And they definitely don’t bother me
I laugh at most of them
And the rest get thrown in the trash
These ignorant people can believe whateva they want
Because me and God know the truth
Like I said before
I hear them talking
And I see them looking
But all they can do is talk and look
Won’t step up to the plate
And say it to my face
These rumors that make me snap
But it’s good to know that I’m thought about a lot
My family is even spreading rumors too
But what can I do about it
I just smile and laugh at it
Knowing that people will put forth
So much effort to make me miserable
These rumors will never end
So I continue to laugh at them
