The Rotten Day

Today was a rotten
And terrible day
No sun in the sky
And the birds flew away
Raindrops drip dropping
Made mud from the dirt
My shoes got all wet
And so did my shirt
The lunch lady was mean
The bus driver was late
Fish sticks and peas
On my dinner plate
Today was a day
I would not call splendid
I’m going to bed
So happy it ended.
Good night.
