The Rot Has Sunk In Deep

Notice our subtle resistance
Manifest as hesitancy
Mitigating exuberance 
Our lower mind delinquency 

Myriad illusions confound
Notice our subtle resistance
We are yet to mind-body bound
Recognising not divine dance

We first look to our convenience 
Subject-object relationship 
Notice our subtle resistance
Foolish game of one-upmanship 

Oh hermit, know God alone is
Rekindle innate innocence 
Imbibe elixir of bliss fizz
Notice our subtle resistance

Unseeking Seeker June 23, 2021 at 8:13 AM In a dream, we are the dreamer (subject) as also the dreamed individuated object, feeling separate from other objects … all being dreamed by us, the subject. If this life is a dream, we are an object, not the subject. So, how may the object awaken within the dream, being dreamed by the subject? Reflect on this. I’d like to host a contest on this theme but I guess the entries will be limited.
