The Rosebush

You a silhouette of extraordinary tease
Flowing gently on Autumns' breeze
I taste your pleasures I smell your scent
A gift of fire oh so pleasant
Interwoven as planted vines
No division over time
Winds sweep your seeds
To spawn your love
Bees spread your pollen
Words from above
Thorns prick the wondering hand
Rosebuds waft the scented land
Allusions of a love so grand
Interwoven in soil of Man.

Wonderful imagery Kelli! I can visualize the rosebush as my wondering hands navigate the thorns to avoid the prick :)

Thank you NB, some rose bushes are intricately woven brambles with hardened thorns like baited boxes to protect the beautiful bloom. Love kelli
