I give you this gift
That is everlasting
That will remain
On my body
As a testament of my devotion to you

My heart is breaking because of my bitter regret
For I owed you this homage long ago
I just hope this long awaited tribute
Takes you to cloud nine
Blissfully causing your heart to sing
For above the rose tattoo
The name of my heart's desire is displayed
An attestation of my love for you, my darling
